North East Society for the Promotion of Youth and Masses – Guwahati is part of the national organization that boasts of a countrywide network. For more than three decades, it has worked in community mobilization and socio-economic development for people suffering from various forms of addiction. Its treatment approach enables people to maximize their potential, increase their ability, and enhance human worth.
The center works primarily for drug rehabilitation and drug abuse prevention. It utilizes different means for creating awareness. The treatment plan here relies on the 12 Step Program of AA along with community support. It has separate programs for drug abuse treatment and prevention for children, females, and adults. The treatment program is of a minimum 30 days duration and is conducted free of cost.
