Maharshi Atreya Health Center, Baroda, believes that the treatment of addiction should lead to wholesome health and awareness about a healthy lifestyle. It, therefore, emphasizes Ayurveda’s Panchakarma, meditation, medication, and yoga. The treatment here starts with understanding a healthy and disease-free life. Lack of knowledge and awareness remains the root cause of why the addict is not able to get rid of the addiction to drugs, alcohol, and other forms.
The center works by including the methodologies of Ayurveda to lead the patient towards a life full of health, nutrition, and contentment. Addiction is as much a mental issue as it is a physical one.
