Built-up in 1982, CARD De-addiction Hospital is an NGO which helps individuals with chronic drug use. The centre is registered under Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act 27 and has been helping people since its establishment. The centre is located in Samathuvapuram of Tamil Nadu and is registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs. Due to this, the de-addiction hospital is exempted from Income Tax. The main motive of the centre is to help poor people who lack the needs to fight addiction and eventually succumb to it.
The staff of CARD De-Addiction Hopstial takes necessary precautions to prevent relapse. This is done so that the patient can live a healthy life ahead with no substance abuse or heavy drinking.
