Apart from several welfare activities, Association for Social Health in India Counseling Centers, New Delhi works towards curbing the menace of drug abuse that has spread its tentacles in the society today. It started in 1986 and since then has served the community with zeal and commitment. It lays more emphasis on creating awareness and providing free counseling and initial treatment to the addicts by the medical experts.
Run under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, the center is dedicated to the treatment and rehab of individuals addicted to drugs and alcohol. It is equipped with outdoor and indoor facilities with qualified doctors, psychiatric consultants, yoga therapists, counselors, nurses, support staff, and social workers.
