Maria Ashiana is one of the best therapeutic centers in the beautiful natural city of Lonavala. Here, children of different age groups involved in alcoholism are accommodated in various activities that include skill training, awareness sessions that involves mental building, indoor and outdoor games, entertainment. Maria Ashiana aims at mental, physical and emotional building of the children involved in the training period and ensures proper facilitation of the same. The boys admitted in the same are also trained in carpentry, welding, plumbing and other activities. This helps them in becoming financially independent and learning another skill through the process. They also ensure that this helps in building the understanding of myths and superstitions and topics similar to this. In the final  stage, when the boys become groomed enough to understand, they are repatriated to different states like Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat etc for their betterment. Maria Ashiana and its allies are helping such children since more than 4 decades now.
