Kripa Foundation, Meghalaya, is part of the Kripa Foundation Mumbai and is recognized by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The parent organization started its social welfare and de-addiction initiatives in the year 1981 and since then has received several accolades and recognition from India and aboard.
Kripa Foundation, Meghalaya, works to end the suffering of people addicted to drugs and alcohol. The treatment program for de-addiction takes anywhere between 10-30 days and is worked out based on the addiction severity. The center is well equipped to take care of all physical ailments that addicts of drugs and alcohol can suffer from. A unique concept of this center is the coping skills training in which the patients are taught different skills and techniques to empower them to lead a life without drugs and alcohol in an independent manner.
